Who is she?
Withdrawn, and elusive, Jei is a woman of some mystery. Each layer that one could peel back from her may only leave one with more questions and a better understanding that she has much to hide. It might be difficult to get close to such a person, let alone trust them.
Jei is not an altogether grim figure, however. In fact, many of her interests are quite feminine in nature. From gardening, to playing the guzheng to her affinity for birds, Jei's hobbies are often of a calm character.
Jei will rarely speak of her work, and certainly not to just anyone. In fact, Jei's tendency to speak cryptically about many things can just as well be off-putting as it is engaging, depending on the listener.
Narrow Virtue//Shackled Soul
Jei's affiliations are a secret to most. It is clear from her looks and demeanor that she serves some Doman clan, although deeper aspects of who she truly is would require greater rapport.
What -may- be gleaned about Jei would be speculation and pure matter of rumor, often bloody in nature. There are many corners of the world, and the far east is little different. Many clans exist, and though they respect the supremacy of the Rijin family, this respect may merely be a matter of political interest rather than an alignment of values...
A Dream Unmoored
Jei can sometimes be seen lost in thought. Her usually neutral expression shifted to something more wistful in nature. She will almost never speak of these moments or the thoughts causing them outside of very specific people. Even so, a great deal of rapport building might cause her to open up.
A pulse, then silence
Stars exhale. Seeds split stone.
Ash clings to the wind, Whispering of forests it shan't know
Light fades into eternal darkness. Into the folds of another Dawn
It's edges fraying into Rebirth...
Worlds rise and fall, emerging from and fading to the grand foam.

Influences?
My writing influenced heavily by works such as Yoko Taro's Niergard universe and various animated works such as Re:creators and Gurren Lagann. Buddhist and Daoist writings and philosophies also feature heavily in the characterization and lore behind this character. The character inspirations below are by no means exhaustive, but should serve to give an idea for the tone and writing style of the character.
Lore friendly?
I do my best to keep my writing as lore friendly as possible, and I make it a personal point to NOT break lore in any of my work. With this said, several deeper elements of my characters are lore adjacent in nature, often in ways that build new concepts that can fit tidily into the world's setting. If you have any questions about these concepts please feel free to message me.
Themes?
I enjoy most of themes! However I generally try to avoid OVERTLY grimdark themes in writing. I love love LOVE philosophical underpinning in writing, and I deeply enjoy when character's philosophies are put against one another.
Please note that while I am not against ERP or other adult content, it is not the primary focus of my writing. My characters are very much pieces of myself and I would not wish to reduce them or your characters to little more than ERP material.
